Last year it was rainbow wool bunnies. This year I'm making realistic felt birds. I'll have to like the website I'm getting the patterns from. <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-s_qXwv9OP2c/UURspoZbsLI/AAAAAAAABgc/RcjYEzSRgBs/s640/blogger-image--1166091049.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-s_qXwv9OP2c/UURspoZbsLI/AAAAAAAABgc/RcjYEzSRgBs/s640/blogger-image--1166091049.jpg" /></a></div> <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-JPFYh2ej0d0/UURssauHwbI/AAAAAAAABgk/lMYVgT6MwW0/s640/blogger-image-1330304868.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-JPFYh2ej0d0/UURssauHwbI/AAAAAAAABgk/lMYVgT6MwW0/s640/blogger-image-1330304868.jpg" /></a></div>Brynnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02596305139972000665noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1696449964354409255.post-23132631478639355652013-03-01T13:20:00.001-08:002013-03-01T13:20:54.504-08:00Lantern bunting.I made this martinmas lantern bunting using a blog post I found on pinterest. Let me tell you how hat it is to make a bin and fin things for it. We bought a pack o plastic Egypt figures and went from there. K and I made the pyramids out of tape, cardboard, and paint. The mirror was found at good will and painted. We made wraps (to make mummies) out of white cloth. The sand is from lake mi. I've also added a couple of little skeletons to make into mummies. <br />
I'm hoping I don't regret using sand. Especially since my little guy throws everything. <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-EiUW82db6CQ/UPV4C95JoBI/AAAAAAAABdg/3bqdjxg4LV8/s640/blogger-image--2080065157.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-EiUW82db6CQ/UPV4C95JoBI/AAAAAAAABdg/3bqdjxg4LV8/s640/blogger-image--2080065157.jpg" /></a></div> <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ydu_kxzln3s/UPV3wGWJ1iI/AAAAAAAABdI/Rh6z8Cto_qc/s640/blogger-image-447824097.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ydu_kxzln3s/UPV3wGWJ1iI/AAAAAAAABdI/Rh6z8Cto_qc/s640/blogger-image-447824097.jpg" /></a></div> <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-aYmQnI4dkwM/UPV3zzbYcEI/AAAAAAAABdQ/MEe2tZNtKnI/s640/blogger-image-1114471823.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-aYmQnI4dkwM/UPV3zzbYcEI/AAAAAAAABdQ/MEe2tZNtKnI/s640/blogger-image-1114471823.jpg" /></a></div> <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-9hALfS8CQls/UPV325r9UsI/AAAAAAAABdY/Bf_hoQlVFbY/s640/blogger-image--1528765127.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-9hALfS8CQls/UPV325r9UsI/AAAAAAAABdY/Bf_hoQlVFbY/s640/blogger-image--1528765127.jpg" /></a></div>Brynnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02596305139972000665noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1696449964354409255.post-25765526017963755062013-01-15T07:30:00.001-08:002013-01-15T07:30:46.415-08:00Gingerbread housesI attempted to make my own gingerbread houses for the kids to decorate. In the past deb (friend) has done most of the work. Well let me just say... My catch phrase of the night was, "this wouldn't have happened to deb. ". In the end though, the boys had fun and the houses turned out great. <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-AOeFFsInm4I/UPV2Fma7tkI/AAAAAAAABc0/guYhPTcw_lk/s640/blogger-image--881929470.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-AOeFFsInm4I/UPV2Fma7tkI/AAAAAAAABc0/guYhPTcw_lk/s640/blogger-image--881929470.jpg" /></a></div> <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-fQcOcKL1IbA/UPV2JJqTBYI/AAAAAAAABc8/spiTPhUjJr4/s640/blogger-image-1219747988.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-fQcOcKL1IbA/UPV2JJqTBYI/AAAAAAAABc8/spiTPhUjJr4/s640/blogger-image-1219747988.jpg" /></a></div> <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-QlLdupbM63A/UNZB8mTXypI/AAAAAAAABcg/fcaKr4G0jUU/s640/blogger-image--244276269.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-QlLdupbM63A/UNZB8mTXypI/AAAAAAAABcg/fcaKr4G0jUU/s640/blogger-image--244276269.jpg" /></a></div> <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-ZZsW_4z-yZs/UNZB54THHYI/AAAAAAAABcY/-nUWrYtXRNs/s640/blogger-image--1142512730.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-ZZsW_4z-yZs/UNZB54THHYI/AAAAAAAABcY/-nUWrYtXRNs/s640/blogger-image--1142512730.jpg" /></a></div>Brynnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02596305139972000665noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1696449964354409255.post-5335533955862773462012-12-22T15:24:00.001-08:002012-12-22T15:24:27.429-08:00Holiday funThey boys have been playin. I'd like to make them bags every year and slowly eliminate the wrapping paper, but that all depends on my future motivation. These were fun to make though. <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-qM9GRs5hH-U/UNY-qNiR57I/AAAAAAAABaM/27t9kfO3phk/s640/blogger-image--1932250851.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-qM9GRs5hH-U/UNY-qNiR57I/AAAAAAAABaM/27t9kfO3phk/s640/blogger-image--1932250851.jpg" /></a></div> <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-YPI3ybWBCLk/UNY-tPH5YkI/AAAAAAAABaU/765jpKJfNcA/s640/blogger-image--164787215.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-YPI3ybWBCLk/UNY-tPH5YkI/AAAAAAAABaU/765jpKJfNcA/s640/blogger-image--164787215.jpg" /></a></div> <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-tIQbEpQHZc0/UNY-mDsfGNI/AAAAAAAABaE/rxmo8bb7fgk/s640/blogger-image--879159692.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-tIQbEpQHZc0/UNY-mDsfGNI/AAAAAAAABaE/rxmo8bb7fgk/s640/blogger-image--879159692.jpg" /></a></div>Brynnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02596305139972000665noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1696449964354409255.post-25990507301599324752012-12-22T15:10:00.001-08:002012-12-22T15:10:01.880-08:00Advent bowlHere are the last three weeks. I have been needle Felting away to get at least half the animals done. I will tuck the animals into the pockets so that each day the kids take one out an stick it to the scene. <br />
I think I'm done for this year (other then adding a Christmas tree) so I can finally focus on other gifts.<br />
Next on the list are pjs for the boys (material bought) gift bags for the boys (already started), water bottle holder for boys, play dough for L, lots o homemade stuff for friends and family. <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-g41SztAtRCI/ULQh1b7SWwI/AAAAAAAABY0/5C-OTPNOpf0/s640/blogger-image-961310379.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-g41SztAtRCI/ULQh1b7SWwI/AAAAAAAABY0/5C-OTPNOpf0/s640/blogger-image-961310379.jpg" /></a></div> <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-FgWPGLMLmyY/ULQh2FD_XGI/AAAAAAAABY8/PRwP9T3GhLU/s640/blogger-image-1396703538.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-FgWPGLMLmyY/ULQh2FD_XGI/AAAAAAAABY8/PRwP9T3GhLU/s640/blogger-image-1396703538.jpg" /></a></div>Brynnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02596305139972000665noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1696449964354409255.post-64036689723319674962012-11-22T18:40:00.001-08:002012-11-22T18:42:37.346-08:00Advent animalsLast year I started an advent calendar. I made a winter woods scene out of felt with 24 pockets below it. This year I started making the animals for the pockets. Each one is made from wool felt and needle felted. I'll probably only make a few more this year so I can get to other projects. I'll post a picture of them with the calendar when we put it up. <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-wPSRHUR-zfE/UK7iOaAA09I/AAAAAAAABYk/xTOC5FDFyek/s640/blogger-image--1207057251.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-wPSRHUR-zfE/UK7iOaAA09I/AAAAAAAABYk/xTOC5FDFyek/s640/blogger-image--1207057251.jpg" /></a></div>Brynnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02596305139972000665noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1696449964354409255.post-47092349929372667582012-11-21T12:30:00.001-08:002012-11-21T12:30:06.051-08:00Holiday craftingK has been busy making gifts for all the family. He also decorated beeswax candles but I forgot to take a picture before I put them away. <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-qWHXZvSliXk/UK05yq5M60I/AAAAAAAABYU/2gTJp5z9fKI/s640/blogger-image--441745422.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-qWHXZvSliXk/UK05yq5M60I/AAAAAAAABYU/2gTJp5z9fKI/s640/blogger-image--441745422.jpg" /></a></div>Brynnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02596305139972000665noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1696449964354409255.post-34365975436476316782012-11-10T16:16:00.001-08:002012-11-10T16:16:52.590-08:00MartinmasWe had a big family martinmas celebration this year. We started last night making tissue paper and jar lanterns. We began the day at our local holiday parade and then went home to make a harvest stew and to make bread together. Each person kneaded the bread together and then mad their own roll. After dinner we passed out symbols of the season (pine cones, glass squirrels, wooden apples, etc) to put in our fall bags. Then we lit our lanterns and walked through the neighborhood singing. We ended at a bonfire eating our bread. <div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-oI0GV5FF4fc/UJ7uXX6SsxI/AAAAAAAAAUY/nIZqPR6Ga6M/s640/blogger-image--1712952307.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-oI0GV5FF4fc/UJ7uXX6SsxI/AAAAAAAAAUY/nIZqPR6Ga6M/s640/blogger-image--1712952307.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-BD3HUCCp-YY/UJ7uXwLfKKI/AAAAAAAAAUc/wqmhzv_xJaU/s640/blogger-image--531217020.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-BD3HUCCp-YY/UJ7uXwLfKKI/AAAAAAAAAUc/wqmhzv_xJaU/s640/blogger-image--531217020.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-hGG_8C_mMk0/UJ7uYj0jb2I/AAAAAAAAAUo/ZqVg5JWvt3g/s640/blogger-image--845375333.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-hGG_8C_mMk0/UJ7uYj0jb2I/AAAAAAAAAUo/ZqVg5JWvt3g/s640/blogger-image--845375333.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-fravfm8TVFE/UJ7uZBINPnI/AAAAAAAAAUw/hukUtnIR9Rc/s640/blogger-image--1739595393.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-fravfm8TVFE/UJ7uZBINPnI/AAAAAAAAAUw/hukUtnIR9Rc/s640/blogger-image--1739595393.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-DgpdW3RYpJI/UJ7uZgGbytI/AAAAAAAAAU4/av6aqln_b5M/s640/blogger-image-1913296204.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-DgpdW3RYpJI/UJ7uZgGbytI/AAAAAAAAAU4/av6aqln_b5M/s640/blogger-image-1913296204.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-3ZIIiwj2bsQ/UJ7uaEKbtBI/AAAAAAAAAVA/4gdoOjqdN_Y/s640/blogger-image--650502425.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-3ZIIiwj2bsQ/UJ7uaEKbtBI/AAAAAAAAAVA/4gdoOjqdN_Y/s640/blogger-image--650502425.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XTGLU2aJK88/UJ7ua_spDmI/AAAAAAAAAVI/9XpMIrnn2u8/s640/blogger-image--787784168.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XTGLU2aJK88/UJ7ua_spDmI/AAAAAAAAAVI/9XpMIrnn2u8/s640/blogger-image--787784168.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-YqARoYyWOfA/UJ7ubzP3ALI/AAAAAAAAAVQ/bmYSOtZLgmU/s640/blogger-image--991240273.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-YqARoYyWOfA/UJ7ubzP3ALI/AAAAAAAAAVQ/bmYSOtZLgmU/s640/blogger-image--991240273.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-7ooafuM5F10/UJ7uc-oAKkI/AAAAAAAAAVY/07sbvUBOzps/s640/blogger-image--2114852140.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-7ooafuM5F10/UJ7uc-oAKkI/AAAAAAAAAVY/07sbvUBOzps/s640/blogger-image--2114852140.jpg" /></a></div>Brynnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03907418895212644363noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1696449964354409255.post-25531969277575262732012-10-29T12:28:00.001-07:002012-10-29T12:28:43.609-07:00Halloween felt boardI finally (just in time) made some Halloween felt pieces for our board. I went with an owl since we had so much fun owling the other night. I looked at another persons owl transparency I make his one. I'll have to find the link. <div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-M3C9Lg3cHL0/UHCaUJXNggI/AAAAAAAAATQ/3cBFb9MYmMA/s640/blogger-image-1131894357.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-M3C9Lg3cHL0/UHCaUJXNggI/AAAAAAAAATQ/3cBFb9MYmMA/s640/blogger-image-1131894357.jpg" /></a></div>Brynnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03907418895212644363noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1696449964354409255.post-90047382423643268982012-10-03T17:49:00.001-07:002012-10-03T17:49:52.256-07:00Fall felt board.I have finished the first of my fall felt board plans. I wanted to get a bunch of pieces made I make fall scenes and tell stories. My next plan is to make a jack O lantern with different faces. Then I'd like to make the pieces to our book stellaluna. Somewhere in there I'll also make some Halloween pieces. <div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-9yDxgol0CWg/UGzdJ5d8WYI/AAAAAAAAASw/rtGXTJ88iw4/s640/blogger-image--1334432270.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-9yDxgol0CWg/UGzdJ5d8WYI/AAAAAAAAASw/rtGXTJ88iw4/s640/blogger-image--1334432270.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-3-wjaRglVfg/UGzdLftTC2I/AAAAAAAAAS4/uGUzP_DLZDs/s640/blogger-image-240802319.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-3-wjaRglVfg/UGzdLftTC2I/AAAAAAAAAS4/uGUzP_DLZDs/s640/blogger-image-240802319.jpg" /></a></div>Brynnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03907418895212644363noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1696449964354409255.post-49295145927824439842012-09-26T07:17:00.001-07:002012-09-26T07:17:31.917-07:00Gnome in the nightAnother transparency I made. This one is partly copied from one on pinterest. I can't link back to it though because it's no longer there. Anyway these are pretty easy to make. I just drew the picture on white paper and then used a paper knife to cut then out over the black card stock. Then I used scissors to cut out kite paper that I layered on the back with stick glue. So this idea came from someone else's but switched the little boy to a gnome. <div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-9DYiUi5XkIg/UGMOeffLGwI/AAAAAAAAASY/VnAiz45Z_jM/s640/blogger-image--677180062.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-9DYiUi5XkIg/UGMOeffLGwI/AAAAAAAAASY/VnAiz45Z_jM/s640/blogger-image--677180062.jpg" /></a></div>Brynnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03907418895212644363noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1696449964354409255.post-55402879727137623072012-09-25T09:29:00.001-07:002012-09-25T09:29:52.434-07:00Mouse in his houseI made this yesterday with card stock an kite paper.
