Busy bags

I've been making busy bags for a busy bag swap group. Each month they have swaps for different age groups and other themed swaps. This month I did the dr. Seuss swap. I make little nature books for the lorax and star bellied sneetch othello games.
We've been getting some great stuff back. I'll have to take some pictures of what I made last month.

Star party

I've been getting ready for L's first birthday party all day. Things are coming together.

Wind chimes

For Easter this year everyone made wind chimes. They turned out really great. I'm hoping to get pictures I everyone's on here but for now here are mine.

Beaded stars

K an I made these beaded stars to hang from the ceiling during pinks party. I was surprised at how much fun k had making them.

Pussy willow

K made a pussy willow today out of fingerprints. Little brother added some lovely blue clouds to the bottom. :)

Star lanterns

I've been working on star decorations for pink's birthday party. Yesterday k and I made these star lanterns. It proved to be a difficult task as pink knocked over the entire container of glue while we were working. I had a great helper in cleaning though. :)
I've also been knitting these little stars that I'll string across the room. I'm not sure that they look totally like stars. (Casey said it looks like a fox) but they're fun to make anyway.

Baby's birthday banner

I finished baby L's birthday banner. It turned out pretty great. I'll post a bigger picture later. This post is also a little excitement in posting from my phone.
