K and I started a nature table this fall. This is a Waldorf tradition in which you have a seasonal table in your home (or school) with found objects from nature and natural homemade (or someone else makes) objects. This is our first season. K collected the pine cones and put them on the table. K and I made the lanterns together. (I'll make another post on that). The turtle, owl, and arches are all bought but handmade. The leaves we collected and dipped in wax. The corn and gourd were given to us as was the salt candle. And the seashells were collected on our vacation in Florida.
