Mayday

This Mayday we decided to celebrate by leaving the fairies a treat. K kept calling the fairies gnomes which I thought was pretty cute. On Mayday eve K brought out a little bowl of granola and a cup of milk for the fairies. Then in the morning we went back to find everything eaten and a little rainbow bag. He was pretty excited about the whole thing and kept talking about "gnomes" eating.

How wonderful you are as a Mother to have the wisdom to create enchantment in a child' s life, my children are all grown, two are married and I did this when they were young, it gives there minds great freedom in later life to fly free and become free thinkers.

What a lovely idea! It will definately make its way into our May Day festivities next year! It's so nice to weave some "magic" into our childs lives!
