Letting our spider go

I thought I had posted this a while ago, but I guess not. We are lovers of all animals, bugs, and plants here. When I find a spider in the house I usually ignore it (hey they eat the other bugs). However, once in a while one is just in the wrong place at the wrong time and needs to be let go. I found this one in my dirty laundry. K got a huge kick out of watching him in the jar and then letting him go outside. He talks about spiders all the time now and keeps running back to the spot we let him go to show people. Perhaps we'll have to go on a spider hunt in the house to find more.

Yay! I have the same ethos about spiders around the home. Mostly its a symbiotic relationship but sometimes they do get into the wrong spot. When webs get dusty and noticeable, then they come down. Mum and I have this running dialogue about my spiderwebs and my casual attitude to the spiders. I'm so glad to meet someone else with a similar perspective.
